Zorba the Greek is located in a strip mall at corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Old Country Road in Hicksville, Long Island.

There is parking in the lot in front but the designated handicapped spots are on the other side of the strip mall. The single door entrance is sidewalk level which is one step up from the parking lot.

There are tables and chairs at street level and on a platform one step up. There is ample room to maneuver around.

Single occupancy restrooms with handrails are located on the main floor at the rear of the restaurant.

Traditional Mediterranean cuisine is served by pleasant waiters at lunch and dinner in a casual setting.

Zorba the Greek is in a strip mall located at the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Old Country Road in Hicksville, Long Island. It is a reasonably priced no frills Mediterranean restaurant we have been patronizing for years. It is an excellent place to enjoy both lunch and dinner. The menu consists of gyros and the other staples usually found in a restaurant of this type. The service is good and the waiter was very pleasant about accomodating my picky eater friend’s requests.


The single door entrance is sidewalk level, which is one step up from the paved parking lot. There are tables and chairs at entrance level and one step up. The single occupancy restrooms are located in the rear and have handrails.


The paved parking lot is large. The designated handicapped spots are on the other side of the strip mall.
