Where to take someone who is gluten free, for a good dinner, someplace that offers more than a minute number of choices?  West East Bistro is the answer.  With an interesting and inventive menu that is 95% gluten fee, plus a “menu that is seasonal and reflects the best of what Mother Nature has to offer,” this restaurant is a good choice for everyone.

West East is located in a strip mall on South Broadway.  We almost missed it, as it is in the middle of the stores.

The large, paved parking lot has seven handicapped spaces near the entrance.

Street-level doors, a small entryway with several stools, and another door led us to the simple dining room.  Several very large portraits adorn the walls. Floor to ceiling windows let the light in.

Tables are chairs are well spaced.  Floors are smooth.  Navigation is easy.

The intriguing presented many choices for us.  What to order – duck, chicken, fish, tofu, vegetarian? Our waiter was quite knowledgeable and very helpful in describing the various dishes to us – we could almost picture them.   was so…accommodating! As it turned out, we all ordered different things and each of us was extremely satisfied with our choices.

As we were discussing what we might order next time, our waiter pointed out that the menu changes seasonally and according to what’s available locally. Oh well, we will be happy to try something new!

Single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restrooms with baby-changing stations are easy accessed.

As always, we at Destination Accessible advise you to check a venue’s website, www.westeastbistro.com, when planning a visit to “know before you go.”
