Description

Villa Olivetti is located at 645 Middle Country Road, St. James. There are two handicapped spaces in the parking lot on the side of the building, near the concrete walkway that doesn't require any steps. If entering directly from the front there is a step up to the double doors (which have a small "lip). There is a small entryway and a single door to the restaurant itself.

Once inside, the bar is to the right and the dining areas to the left. The full-height,bar/lounge area has wood floors with carpet runners covering a portion of it.  The dining areas are fully carpeted. Tables and chairs have ample space between them. To get the the second dining area (to the left) there is a mini ramp.

Single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restrooms are located in the hallway between the bar/lounge and dining areas. There is a baby-changing station in the ladies' room.

I have now been to Villa Olivetti several times for lunch meetings. The food is delicious, the service incredible! Every server has been more than just pleasant. They always seem to be happy to help us in any way they can. I have not yet had a chance to visit them for dinner, but I know it will be just as lovely.

Two handicapped spaces are locaated in the paved, parking lot on the side of the building. Theses spaces are close to the part of the concrete walkway that doesn’t require a step up. If you enter directly from the front, there is a step up to the sidewalk, and then a small “lip” to enter the double doors. A small entryway and single door get you to the restaurant itself.

The full height, bar/lounge area is to the right. It has a wooden floor, part of which is covered by carpet runners. The dining areas are to the left. They are both carpeted and have an intimate feel, et tables are well-spaced. The farther area requires a “mini” ramp to get to it.  If you think this may be a problem, let the staff know. I’m sure they will accommodate you as best they can.

Single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restrooms are located in the hallway between the dining areas and bar. A baby-changing station is located in the ladies’ room.

Villa Olivetti’s website says, “…come in and enjoy fine Italian/American cuisine in a friendly environment.”   I think this is an undertatement!

As always, we at Destination Accessible advise you to check  a venue’s website, www.villaolivetti.com, when planning a visit, to know before you go
