Too many choices, too many choices! Can you ever have too much of a good thing? Not when it comes to food. Uncle Guiseppe’s Marketplace is a perfect example of a venue with so… many choices of delicious foods, Whether you are there to do your grocery shopping, take home something for dinner, order food for a party, or have something to eat in their “cafe,” the variety is astounding!
This family owned business began in 1998 and has continued to grow and grow. They are Long Island’s leading Italian food retail destination – and with good reason. Their mission is “to promote a memorable shopping experience with outstanding customer service and quality products, along with the freshest foods made with traditional Italian recipes and ingredients.” Everything they do is first-rate, everything tastes great, their stores are a wonderland just to wander through (and always immaculate), and the people that work there are amazing!
We have had many “take-out “ dinners from them (their crab cakes are the best), have had catering orders from them, and have enjoyed their “picture perfect” and delicious produce.
Today was the first time I have had dinner in their cafe. To tell the truth, I had never really noticed it. Now that I have, we will enjoy it more often. You can order whatever you want from any of the many counters in the store and take it to the lovely area behind the floral displays near the exit, to enjoy it. Tables and armless chairs are well spaced for easy navigation and there is even a microwave if you want to warm something up. It was an easy and enjoyable dinner for both of us.
Parking is easy in the large, paved lot. There are six accessible spaces close to the entrance and many others throughout the lot.
