Toku is a modern Asian restaurant located on Northern Blvd in Manhasset, Long Island. This dining venue with its sleek minimalistic interior is perfectly suited for the upscale Americana Shopping Center where it is situated.
Many times, my friends and I have taken a break from our exhausting shopping trips to have a relaxing delicious lunch here. The menu features Asian food with many choices including a prix fixe option. After entering through the street level double doors, patrons are escorted to a booth or table by the host. The floors are wood and maneuverability is good. We sat at a lovely corner table and were served by a very pleasant waiter.
The restrooms are located in a side hall in the middle of the restaurant. They are multi-stall with a large handicapped accessible unit directly in line with the entry door.
Gillis and George Poll own and operate many restaurants on Long Island. “They are dedicated to providing their guests with distinguished dining experience. Great atmosphere, warm hospitality and fresh quality is what makes their restaurants so beloved.” (website) Toku is open for lunch and dinner. Since it is such a popular place reservations are recommended.
