We have been to Relish, Kings Park  before and enjoyed it. We were happy to be back.

One accessible space in the paved, parking lot is right next to the front entrance ramp.  There are four concrete steps to reach the single door entrance. If someone has to be dropped off, a bench at the bottom of the steps is right there for waiting. The door leads to an entryway (with a bench) and another single door to the welcome area.

There are stools at the full-height counter.  The several dining areas each have roomy booths, as well as tables and chairs. Although it looks small from the outside, when you walk in you realize there are several dining areas,  making each seem more intimate. Tables are well spaced for easy navigation and conversation.

The menu offers quite a variety, from breakfast (which is served all day), to lunch and dinner. There are also weekly specials. The kids’ menu seems great! Even though we were only two people, the restaurant was not crowded and the lovely hostess seated us at a large booth. So nice!

Our server was terrific. Extremely friendly and helpful, she checked to make sure everything was to our liking, and made sure our coffee cups were never empty.  After much agonizing over all of the items on the menu, we made our decisions. Each of us chose breakfast omelettes. Based on how delicious  our choices were, we probably could not have gone wrong with anything on the menu. Just a note, not only were our choices excellent, they were so large that we had enough left over for another meal!  We were able to enjoy a tasty lunch in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. We highly recommend this place and will be happy to return!

The large, accessible, single-occupancy restroom has an accessible sink as well as a baby-changing station.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to check a venue’s website, www.relishfoodlongisland.com, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
