The last time I was fortunate enough to eat at Morning Rose Cafe, the food and service were great, but accessibility was another story. Happily, they were in the process of renovating to make the restaurant accessible.
I am happy to report that this has been completed and it is quite a difference. Originally someone’s home, there were two steps up to the single door entrance, and a very small, non-accessible restroom. The two step entrance seems to still be there, but the true entrance is now around the corner, easily accessible at street-level. Once inside a hallway leads to the welcome area. Space between tables is much greater than before (perhaps due to Covid), and the new restroom is wonderful. It is a large, single-occupancy, accessible restroom, with an accessible sink.
The website says, “…a variety of unique and creative dishes…the goal is to provide you with the most delicious meals, prepared to perfection, with the freshest ingredients available… We will do everything we can to meet your expectations.” They met their goal on my previous visits and things were no different today. The food is great and the service is as well!
We requested and were able to get a table outside. Take note, they do not take reservations, but one is able to sign in “online.” It worked out perfectly. Check their website (http://www.morningrosecafe.com">www.morningrosecafe.com) to find out exactly what to do.
They are open for breakfast and lunch. There is usually a wait – a testament to how delicious the food is. Our choices today were a veggie breakfast wrap and pancakes that took up the entire plate. Delicious muffins and never-ending coffee made completed a perfect meal ! If you have not been there, give it a try. We think you will not be disappointed!
