Mim's is located 235 Roslyn Road, Roslyn Heights, NY. Valet parking is usually available. There are two accessible spaces there are in the paved lot to the left of the building. A slight ramp goes from the parking lot to the single door entrance, foyer, and another door to get to the hostess area.There is a bench in the waiting area. Floors are smooth in all dining areas. The bar area has booths as well as the bar. The other areas have a combination of booths, tables and banquets. There is ample room to navigate.
Multi-stall restrooms with an accessible stall are easy to get to. The ladies' room has a baby-changing station.

Mim’s has been a mainstay on Roslyn Road for quite a while. As with many other venues I had not been there with Destination:Accessible eyes, so when friends suggested we meet them there it was fine with us. It was dark when we arrived and valets were parking the cars, so I am not sure how many handicapped parking spaces they have in their lot.
A slight stone ramp and walk lead to the single door entryway, foyer and another door to get to the hostess area. If you are waiting for friends or for a table, a bench allows for easy waiting. Mim’s has several dining areas, including booths at the bar area; tables, booths and banquets in the other areas. One area even has a fireplace, something I always love to sit near! Floors are all smooth with ample space to navigate between most tables. The hostess assured me that they will do whatever it takes to accommodate ones’ needs.
Multi-stall, handicapped-accessible restrooms are easy to get to. The ladies’ room has a baby-changing station.
Mim’s offers a variety of dining options from brunch lunch to dinner. Some special nights feature music and even a psychic. Check it out! We happened to be here for Oktoberfest, great if you love beer!
We enjoyed a lovely dinner, as is always the case here. It is nice to know that this is also a good location for people with mobility challenges. Their website says that, “…Mim’s features warm, friendly service…and wonderful homemade desserts.” We have found that both are true.
