Brendel’s is located at 1075 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY., in the same shopping plaza as Century 21 Department Store.  The large, paved parking lot has many handicapped spaces throughout the lot.

There is a street-level, double-door main entrance for all. Tables and chairs are well spaces.  The tile floor is smooth. One orders at the counter and waits for his/her food.

The single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restroom at the rear is easy to enter. There is no baby-changing station.

Located in the same shopping plaza as Century 21 Department Store, I took advantage of time between stops to have some lunch. Parking was easy in the large, paved lot.  There are handicapped spaces in several locations throughout. The double door, street-level entrance accommodates all.


Once inside this typical bagel café, I placed my order at the counter and waited for it.  Brendel’s has a large menu with many bagel choices, breakfast and lunch combos.


Seating was easy with well-spaced tables and chairs as well as banquets along one side of the dining area. Copies of the day’s newspapers were on tables to share ( a nice touch!). I must say that my chicken pesto lunch was delicious.


A single-occupancy, handicapped restroom at the rear or the restaurant was easily accessible. There is no baby-changing station.
