Having read a small item about The Anne Frank Memorial Garden at Arboretum Park, I had to check it out. My GPS got me there with no problem. I was surprised that the small, paved parking lot does not have any dedicated accessible parking spaces. I suggest parking on the left side of the lot, if possible, to be closer to the concrete walk that leads to the garden. The small garden has a concrete and stone circular path. There is some seating in one area. Throughout the carden, carved in stone boulders, are quotes from Anne’s diary .There are also some sculptures, with the main attraction being one of a white dress.  Be careful, the stone underfoot is a bit uneven.  This is a small, lovely area in which one can sit and contemplate, or have meaningful conversation with one’s companion(s).

A fully fenced, children’s playground, primarily for ages 2 – 5, is nearby. There  is mulch on the ground and four benches inside the playground.

Unfortunately,  there are no restrooms anywhere near here. If you are plannig a visit here, be prepared.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to visit a venue’s website, www.huntingtonny.gov, when planning a visit, to know before you go.
