A business breakfast brought me to the American Waffle House, Seaford.

The delicious food and gracious service will bring me back soon.

Located on Merrick Road, you can park on the street, or go around back and find lots of parking. If you park in the back you will find one accessible space very close to the street-level, single door entrance. There are others available, just not as close. The street-level, double door front entrance has a slight incline once you are inside.

Being in here is like taking a step back in time. The look is retro casual reminiscent of a 1950’s diner. Red, black and white are the colors, along with great nostalgic posters on the walls. It gave me a very comfortable feeling.

Seating is at booths and tables. There is ample space to navigate, and room to move tables if needed.

The menu is large and varied. Even with the many options to choose from, if you want something different, they will happily accommodate you. Everyone had something different, and everyone was happy with their choices. The staff was constantly making sure that coffee cups were full and checking to see if there was anything else they could do for us. What more could one ask for! I can’t wait to return with my “better half!”

Large, accessible, single-occupancy restrooms are located in the hallway leading to the rear entrance/exit. Unfortunately, there is no baby-changing station.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to visit a venue’s website, “http://www.american-waffle-house-seaford.com">www.american-waffle-house-seaford.com“, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.” We are sure you will enjoy it as much as we did.
