This is a wonderful time of year to visit Fink’s Country Farm. Although there are no designated accessible parking spaces, parking is plentiful along the side of the road.  Since we were here early on a Sunday morning, we had the place almost to ourselves. I’m sure things get much more hectic as the day goes on.

The farm stand out front, signage and decor are very inviting. Everything seem to say, “Welcome!”

The farm is open from April – October, with most of the activities, including snacks and a candy shop, happening on the weekends.

Of course, the ground is dirt and grass, as one would expect from a working farm, but it is mostly flat and definitely doable. There is a hayride wagon, which used to have a ramp for wheelchair users, but apparently, it is no longer working. So sad!  The maze is definitely wide enough for a wheelchair, although the terrain is not flat. There is a farmyard, with a variety of animals, a cow train for the younger set, play area and large, covered picnic area with tables and benches. One of the best things we saw was what I would call “the kernel pit.” Like a ball pit, but with millions of corn kernels for the kids to jump into. The ones that were in there were definitely enjoying it!

The area is quite large, with lots of room for the kids to let themselves to and enjoy everything.

There are some benches throughout, although a few more, especially closer to the maze entrance would be helpful to many.

Besides the far stand, Fink;s offers a large variety of seasonal decorations, which are hard to resist!

The large, freestanding, single-occupancy, accessible restroom near the entrance, was a great surprise!
