The Twisted Fork Brunch Company, Bellmore, was a great new find for me. A relatively new (opened 1/24) venue on the corner of Bedford Avenue, it is a “delightful twist on your favorite mid-morning meal.. Being unable to find street parking, I wound up in a municipal lot off of Grand Avenue (about 1/2 block from the street-level , single door, entrance.) I saw two accessible spaces in the paved lot.
The Twisted Fork has an inviting atmosphere, along with well-spaced tables, booths and banquettes. I was warmly greeted and shown to a table. The menu is diverse and interesting. Although I stuck to a “healthy omelette, I couldn’t help but notice the “mile high” french toast and cheddar biscuits with eggs that were served to the next table. Being unable to to resist commenting on there delicious looking items, they said that everything was, in fact, delicious, as was my healthy choice. My server was very gracious, making sure my coffee cup stayed full!
