My husband had a business meeting at Tesoro’s.  When he came home and told me how lovely it was I, of course, asked him some questions about accessibility.  He, of course, could not remember much beyond the good food and service.  So… we returned for me to get the specifics for Destination Accessible.

The large, paved parking lot has one handicapped space.  A cobblestone design is at the walkway leading to the street level, double-door entryway.  One more single door gets you to the restaurant itself.

Floors are either carpeted or wood.

Rather than describe the dining area myself, let me quote from Tesoro’s website,  “The dining room is divided into separate areas, including small, private rooms around the perimeter, and the center is an open space. The Bar is set apart from the dining room… The restaurant is decorated in shades of green and light warm tones. Table cloths and fresh flowers grace the tables.”  Let me add that there is adequate space to navigate.

The website also says that “the wait, staff, most of them here for years, are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient.”  My husband concurred, except for knowing how long the staff had been there.  I am hoping he will take me here for dinner soon!

Multi-stall, handicapped-accessible restrooms are located in the hallway to the left of the entrance.  There are no baby-changing stations.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to check a venue’s website, www.tesororestaurant.com, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
