Description
Simplay is located at 180 Commerce Drive, Happauge. There are two handicapped parking spaces in the paved lot. The front entrance has three stone steps, with stone landings between. There is a single door entrance. The rear entrance has two concrete steps to the landing and single door entrance.There is a large lobby, two party rooms, and eight "bays" for simulated play. Each bay requires a step up to play. There is a large bar/lounge area which does not require any steps.
Multi-stall restrooms are in the lobby. Each has a large, handicapped stall. The sinks are not wheelchair accessible. There are no baby-changing facilities.

A business meeting brought me to Simplay, “Long Island’s only multi-sport simulator facility.” (website) I had no idea of what to expect. I found two handicapped-accessible parking spaces in the paved lot, close to the front entrance. The large, stone, entrance area has a step up from the driveway to the first large landing, another step to the next landing, and then a final step to the area in front of the single door entry. If you choose to enter from the rear you are faced with two steps up to the single door entrance. Entering from the front gets you to the large lobby and welcome desk.
Simplay is a large venue. Eight “bays ” offer choices of play from 87 golf courses around the world to fighting the dead in Zombie Dodge Ball. The bays require a step up to enter and play. Behind each bay is a full-height bar where people can watch the play. The bar/lounge area doesn’t require any steps. Our meeting was in one of the two party areas in this venue.
