A group of friends that all like Indian cuisine made our way to Saffire. Having heard good things about it, we decided to give it a try. Turned out that all the good things we heard were true.
Parking was easy in the large, paved lot. Several accessible spaces are located close to the street-level, large, single-door, main entrance. After the first set of doors there is a small entryway and another door to reach the lovely interior.
The warm atmosphere seems to blend the flavors of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal. The lovely decor is a perfect accompaniment
for the flavors of those same countries.
Saffire is quite spacious, with ample space to navigate easily.
Seating is at banquettes, tables with armless chairs, a full-height bar and long, high-top tables in the lounge area. There is a large, outdoor dining area for warm weather.
Our server was lovely, giving us plenty of time to chat and look over the large, varied menu. After much consideration, we decided on Samosas, Lamb Kebobs, Chicken Biryani, Tika Masala, Gobi Manchurian, and several varieties of Naan. Everyone agreed that everything was delicious!
Mango Mousse Napoleon was the perfect dessert!
Multi-stall restrooms have a large accessible stall and accessible sinks. There is no baby-changing station.
As we said good-bye to one another, we agreed that we will be visiting Saffire again.
As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to check a venue’s website, www.saffireli.com, when planning a visit, to learn more about the establishment.
