As we walked toward one end of Commercial Street during our visit to Provincetown, we found the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM). Being set back from the street makes it somewhat difficult to notice.
A slightly inclined stone walkway got us from the street to the double door, main entrance.
Inside we found a main floor with spacious galleries and several interesting exhibits. “Serving as the Cape’s most widely-attended art museum, PAAM presents an ever changing lineup of exhibitions, lectures, and cultural events…” (website)
Multi-stall, handicapped accessible restrooms are located on the main floor.
A small gift shop is located on the main floor as well.
We found this small museum worth exploring.
As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to check a venue’s website, www.paam.com, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
