If you are headed to Old Country Road for some shopping and want a good place to eat that is easily accessible, a bit “off the beaten path” and thus a bit less hectic, try the Old Westbury Diner.

Parking is easy in the large, paved lot. There are two accessible spaces very close to the concrete ramp that leads to the double doors, entryway and another set of double doors to the welcome area.

We have been here many times and are usually greeted by a very pleasant person, who shows us to our table. There are booths and a counter as well as the tables, with armless chairs, which are very well spaced to allow for easy navigation. 

The menu is extensive. Making a decision is often difficult. On this particular day there were three of us, with differing tastes. One of us had a burger deluxe, one of us had an omelette, and one of us had a chef’s salad. As usual, everything arrived exactly as we had ordered, and everything was delicious!

The food and service are always excellent. It is easily accessible for anyone, AND we are never rushed!  What more could you ask for?

You could ask for an accessible restroom – and there is one! It is located in the rear of the larger dining room. The restroom is large and easy to navigate.
