Description

The Oakland Museum is located at 1000 Oak Street, Oakland.

A parking garage has easy access to the Museum.  Handicapped spaces are available on the upper level, as well as a ramp into the Museum.  Street  parking is also available.

The main entrance is accessible by steps or ramp. An elevator gets visitors to all floors, with the exception of the roof garden.

All floors are smooth - concrete, wood, or carpet.

The Blue Oak Cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating.  Eating here does not require a ticket to the Museum.  Call (510) 318 - 8429 for information.

Doors to all galleries have push-button assist.  There is some seating in the hallways.
