After visiting the PGA Store in the Mayfair Shopping Center, we decided to have some lunch. Loving Japanese cuisine, we decided to try Mihana, at the far end of the stores.  What a great find!

Mihana’s website says that “they take a modern IZAKAYA  approach to dining – a Japanese casual dining concept – more than a meal, it’s an experience.” They have a “ commitment to quality in every piece of sushi that reflects the freshness, flavor and craftsmanship that true Japanese cuisine is know for.”

After our lunch there, we certainly agree with everything we quoted above.

The service was pleasant and professional, the food was delicious, the venue is lovely.

Parking was easy in the large, paved lot, with accessible spaces not too far from the street-level entrance. There is a curb cut not far from the entrance either.

Once inside, we were delighted to see a modern, yet casual and comfortable setting.  Booths (some of which require a step to sit), tables and chairs (armless), banquettes, and a full height bar are all well-spaced to make navigation easy.

The lunch specials offer a wide variety of items.  We decided on two different bento boxes that were equally delicious!  We were checked on regularly yet never rushed.

The large, single occupancy restrooms are easily accessible, offering everything at a good level, even for wheelchair users.

Mihana turned out to be much more than we expected. We will definitely be back soon!

As always, we at Destination Accessible advise you to visit a venue’s website, www.mihanajapanese.com, when planning a visit to learn more.
