Unfortunately, I had not been to Market Bistro since before Covid. Now that I have had the opportunity to have an early dinner with a friend, I will make sure to return more often.

Located in the Marshal’s Shopping Center on Broadway  in Jericho, it is not easily visible from the road. Don’t let that deter you from finding it and enjoying what they have to offer.

Parking is easy in the large lot. There are a good number of accessible spaces close to the single door, street-level entrance. A small entryway leads to another door that takes you inside to the rustic yet contemporary, serene, dining room.  Concrete flooring, brick walls, large windows and a high-ceiling contribute to the feel.  Ample space throughout makes navigation and conversation easy.  There is a long, full-height bar, as well as tables and armless chairs. We cannot speak to the noise level when the Bistro is full, but it was quiet at 4:30 pm, perfect for a leisurely meal with a friend. We had a table near one of the large windows.

Our server was lovely, giving us plenty of time to have drinks and conversation. When we finally decided on a salad, fish tacos and quesadillas, he made sure that everything arrived to our liking. The locally sourced, fresh ingredients made for a delicious dinner.

Large, single-occupancy, accessible restrooms are located in the hallway at the end of the bar.

We definitely will not let so much time pass before our next visit.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to visit a venue’s website, www.markletbistroli.com, when planning a visit, to learn more.
