Market Bistro is yet another place I had not been to in some time. Located in the Marshall’s Shopping center, it is not easily visible from the road. One needs to know about it and look for it. Once you have found it you will probably return! Since this is a large shopping/commercial area, there is an abundance of handicapped spaces throughout.
The street level entrance leads to a small entryway and another door to the contemporary, yet serene, dining room. Concrete flooring, brick walls, large windows, and a high ceiling, contribute to the feel. Ample space between tables makes navigation and conversation easy. There is also a long, full-height bar.
The wesite say that they, “…provide our guests only the best in taste, quality, service, and value.” The food is “…locally sourced…” Their mission is “…to bring farm fresh, seasonally inspired and thoughtfully procured provisions to Long Island.” If our lunch and service are indicative of their mission, they achieve it! Our server was professional and attentive. Our lunches were quite good. Such a nice way to spend a rainy, lunch hour, or two!
Large, handicapped-accessible, single-occupancy restrooms are located at the rear.
As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise one to visit a venue’s website, www.marketbistroli.com, when planning a visit, to know before you go.
