A gracious invitation for a tour brought us to Lucky Strike, Melville, a venue for bowling and family fun.
After parking in the large, paved lot, one enters through street-level, double doors.
As we looked around we were impressed with the modern, bright decor.
Floors are smooth and there is ample space throughout to navigate easily.
From our vantage point at the entrance, the place looked quite large. It is!There are 47 bowling lanes, two private VIP bowling “rooms” for private functions, a large, full-height bar and lounge area, plus a fun looking arcade, with the latest games. The only problem in the lounge area may be for those that are unable to sit at a high-top table. We did not notice any regular height tables.
As we walked around, it was very obvious that everyone was having a good time.
We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of seating and that all of it is accessible to everyone. The height of the table at each lane can even be adjusted!
Multi-stall restrooms have a large, accessible stall as well as accessible sinks. The mirrors, soap and hand dryers are at a good level for all. There is a baby-changing station.
We were able to taste a few of the foods available, including a delicious Strawberry Poppy Salad, Nachos, and chicken. The food was so good that we may stop by just for that and one of their “Craft cocktails.”
We understand that anyone can be accommodated. Just give them a call before coming and they will help you with anything you need, from a birthday party, to a big event, to just needing assistance for a “special needs person.”
Thank you to our lovely guide, Jasmine, for a very informative and pleasant tour.
Everything about Lucky Strike is definitely a “strike” for us.
