Iavarone’s Italian Kitchen, at the Country Pointe Shops in Plainview, has become something of a “go to” place for friends to meet for delicious, non-rushy, lunches. It is a casual place, with modern decor, yet warm and friendly. The Iavarone family has a long tradition of fine food and excellent service and this venue is an extension of that.
The paved parking lot has five, accessible parking spaces very close by. There are more accessible spaces throughout the lot. The street-level, double door entrance leads to an entry way and another single door.
Once inside, we are always greeted by a lovely person, willing to listen to our needs for seating; when it is warm enough, outside on the stone patio with open sided tent, sometimes inside in a roomy booth or low table. There is a section of the dining area that requires two steps up, so be sure to let them know if that is a problem. There is ample space everywhere, making it easy to navigate. There is also a long, full-height bar.
Sitting comfortably and catching up with one another, we are never rushed to order. This is always cause for discussion. The lunch menu is terrific and we are always delighted with our decisions, whether it is a burger, (the salmon burger is my personal favorite), wrap, ciabatta ,salad, or pizza ! Our servers have always been attentive to our needs (and wants). They are a professional crew who are always friendly and helpful.
Multi-stall restrooms, with a large, accessible stall and wheelchair-accessible sinks, located in the rear of the dining room, are easy to get to. There is a baby-changing station.
We are always happy to meet here. We hope you will think so too !
A really nice “plus” is that they take reservations!
