After our visit to Old Westbury Gardens we were ready for some lunch. Where could we go for something a bit different? A “Google Search” led us to Fresco Creperie, which turned out to be perfect.
Located in a storefront on Hillside Ave, we had to find parking in the street. Although nothing was available directly in front of the street level, single door entrance, we easily found a spot around the corner. Once inside we found a slight incline downward to the dining area. Well-spaced tables and chairs, and banquettes are on the smooth tile floor. The open kitchen and crisp, modern look made for a pleasant place to dine.
The menu offered a wide variety of made to order crepes, soups and salads, along with a variety of beverages. It was hard to choose. After tasting our choices, we decided that everything is probably as good as the light, delicious, crepes we had. A very nice touch was the fresh salads that accompanied each of our crepes. Our server was very courteous and pleasant. All in all, it made for a lovely lunch.
One easily accessible, single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restroom, (with baby-changing station) is located at the rear of the dining room.
