Friends had told us about their love of Diwan, especially the lunch buffet.
We finally had the opportunity to join them on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first visit but will definitely not be our last! Everything was wonderful.
Parking was easy in the large lot. Accessible spaces are located a ways from the street-level, double door entrance. If necessary it is easy to drop a passenger off and then park. If you need a curb-cut, you will have to walk to the end of the sidewalk.
Once inside, we were warmly greeted. Diwan is a large, roomy venue. Tables are very well spaced, making navigation easy for all. There is also a full-height bar. Once seated, all we had to do was tell a server that we were there for the buffet. The buffet area may be a bit tight for a wheelchair, but doable. No need to worry if you can’t manage it. The staff is willing to help all. The buffet had a wide range of choices, including vegetarian ones. Everything was delicious! We also can’t forget to mention the outrageous naan and great ride pudding for dessert. A great lunch, with gracious service, in a lovely and accessible venue.
Large, accessible, single-occupancy restrooms are located in a hallway in the rear of the dining room. Unfortunately, there are no baby-changing facilities.
