It’s not just chocolate! Something I found our during my visit to Chocolate Works in Plainview. I walked in thinking that one could buy chocolates or have a kids’ party there. I didn’t know the scope of all that they do. Sue, was gracious enough to give me a tour of this very interesting venue and enlighten me on all of the actives they offer for both kids and adults!
Located in the large strip mall on South Oyster Bay Road, parking is plentiful with accessible spaces close to the street-level, single door entrance. The front area is what one would expect in a candy shop, except for the young lady that was decorating items in full view.”She was doing a beautiful job, and I was mesmerized watching her. It seems as though you can order almost anything, either to take with you, or send. Everything looked delicious! I was told that about 95% of their items are made “in house. How nice is it that this is a Kosher and Nut Free venue! The entire space is a mix of vintage and modern and looks great!
From the front we went to the back, an area for parties and/or workshops. I didn’t know the variety of parties and workshops they offer. There is plenty of space to navigate throughout.
I also did not know that there is a lower level, reachable by stairs or elevator. Down here there is much more space to accommodate the variety of events they have.
Multi-stall restrooms have a large, accessible stall and accessible sink. There is a baby-changing station as well.
Chocolate Works, Plainview is an easily accessible where I would love to have a party, or attend one of their workshops!
