The Shed, Plainview, is the third location for this wonderful venue, which offers brunch every day of the week, besides their regular lunch and dinner menus. Everything is made from scratch.
Located in The Shops at Country Point, parking is easy in the large, paved lot. There are four accessible spaces close by and others near Shoprite.
The street-level, single door leads to a welcoming interior. There is a long counter (with stools), banquettes, and tables. There is ample space to navigate easily to all seats. Interesting artwork adorns the walls. There is even “bunny” wallpaper in the restrooms. The charming outdoor, brick patio has tables with umbrellas. Take note – they do not take reservations. My friend and I met for a late lunch (1:30 pm) and had no problem getting a table.
Since it was a rainy day, we chose to sit indoors. Our server was lovely, answering all of our questions, making sure we had water and coffee, and never rushing us. As has been the case in all of my visits, everything was delicious. My “Eggs in the Garden,” was a perfect combination of roasted tomatoes, avocado, hummus, arugula salad and eggs. My friend’s omelette, was delicious as well.
The single-occupancy, accessible restrooms are quite spacious and equipped with baby-changing stations as well. The bunny wallpaper that I mentioned earlier, is adorable! You just have to smile!
Everything about this Shed is terrific.
