Game on Retro Arcade, located in the Smith Haven Mall, is one of four locations of this brand. This location, at the Food Court in the mall, is perfect for playing, having something to eat, and playing again. There is a one time charge to “play all day,” making is easy to do more than one thing when coming here,
Their website says it is “…an authentic arcade that feels like it’s straight out of the 80s and 90s.” As we walked around looking at the more than 100 games, it certainly felt real to us! All of the games have their original hardware with original CRT monitors, giving one a true arcade experience.
For those of us “of a certain age,” it is quite a nostalgic experience, plus, a lot of fun!
We found stools for anyone who needs a seat, as well as steps for the littler ones that need a lift.
Multi-stall restrooms, with accessible stalls and baby-changing facilities, are close by, in the mall itself.
We were there in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, and it was not crowded at all. The young woman at the desk said it can get quite busy. If this matters to you, you will need to check that out for yourself.
As always we at Destination Accessible, advise you to check a venue’s website, www.gameonmp.com, to “know before you go,”
