A lunchtime meeting cancelled, and two hours until my next appointment. What to do? Lunch, of course!  As I was thinking this, I passed  “The Spare Rib.” Having never been there, I decided to stop. As I pulled into the paved, but somewhat uneven parking lot, I found three handicapped(van)-accessisble,  spaces close to the brick plaza, leading to a street-level single door, entryway, another single door, yet another small entryway and double doors to the hostess area. There are some benches outside.

The wood and brick building is a good clue to the rustic look inside. A full-height bar is to the right. Wood or carpet covers the floors. Several dining areas have booths, tables and banquettes. There is ample space to navigate. The farthest dining area requires going down two steps. The upholstered leather booths are very comfy.

My server was very pleasant and professional. The extensive lunch menu required some questions on my part. I must say that the server was very patient and offered some recommendations along it way.  As it turned out, her suggestion was delicious. Glad I listened.

Multi-stall restrooms have a handicapped stall that is tight for wheelchairs due to the narrow opening. There is a baby-changing station.
