Sam's Sushi Bistro is located at 654 Horseblock Road, Farmingville, NY. There is one handicapped space in the paved parking lot, as close as possible to the concrete walkway and street-level, double door entrance.There is a small entryway and another door to the welcome area. which has seats. A full-height bar is to the right and a five seat sushi bar is in the rear. Booths and tables are well-spaced for easy navigation. Flat carpet covers the floor.

An evening meeting brought me to Farmingville early enough to get some dinner. With no place special in mind I passed Sam’s Sushi Bistro. Since this is my favorite cuisisne, I decided to give it a try. Sam’s is in a stand alone building. The paved, parking lot has one handicapped parking space as close as possible to the concrete walkway and street-level, double door entrance. A small entryway and another door brought me to the welcome area, a nice size space with benches. The full-height bar is to the right and a five seat sushi bar is in the rear. Booths and tables make up the dining area. Ample space between tables and flat carpet on the floor make navigation easy.
The person who greeted me was warm and welcoming. As more patrons entered, I noticed that many seemed to be regulars, greeted by name and with pleasant conversation. My server was lovely as she engaged me in onversation about my likes and dislikes on the menu. After offering some suggestions, I made my choice, going with one of her recommendations. It was a great choice – and – the presentation was beautiful. As I left to go to my meeting, I thought about what a good choice this turned out to be.
Large, single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restrooms with baby-changing stations are locted in the rear, beyond the sushi bar.
