We had not been to Limani since before Covid. We had enjoyed it then and were happy to have a chance to meet a cousin there for lunch. Limani is “a Mediterranean, seafood restaurant, focusing on tradition Greek specialties.” (website)
Valet parking was available, but know that there is one accessible space close to the street-level, main entrance. If you valet your car ,you need to step up to the sidewalk or walk to where the accessible parking space is for no step up.
Once inside the double doors, entry and another door, we were greeted warmly by the host. As we made our way to out table, it looked to me that the tables ere not nearly as close together as they were on our last visit. There seems to be more room to navigate, which I’m sure is much appreciated by many.
Tables, banquettes, a full-height bar and high-top tables are located throughout the dining areas. Tablecloths for lunch was a really nice touch.
A lovely lunch menu made choosing what to eat difficult. Happily, they still serve pita on the table. There is a prix-fix option if one wants. Two of us chose the prix-fix option, three of us did not. I must say that all of our choices were excellent. The grilled salmon was perfect, the Athenian Chicken Salad was also great. The Seafood Salad, although delicious, only had one shrimp, one scallop and a tiny piece of tuna. Everything was done just as we had asked. Our server was very pleasant and quite attentive, making sure we had everything we asked for.
Perhaps it was due to our 1:30 reservation, but the restaurant was not crowded and the noise level was quite low, making conversation easy.
Multi-stall restrooms are located in the rear of the dining room. They have a large, accessible stall, accessible sinks, and a baby-changing station.
As always, we at Destination Accessible, advise you to visit a venue’s website, www.limani.com, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
