Greenvale Townhouse Restaurant is located just north of Northern Boulevard on Glen Cove Read. Six handicapped spaces are located in the large parking lot at the rear.There is a ramp to the main entrance. There is a ½ step at the double doors, then a small entryway and another set of double doors. There is a handicapped entrance on the left side of the building, which can be accessed from the parking lot.
Tile and carpet cover the floors. Booths, tables and chairs are well-spaced.A private dining area requires two steps to get to it.
Multi-stall restrooms with a large handicapped stall are located in the hallway leading to the handicapped entrance. There are no baby-changing facilities.

We were headed to the Nassau County Museum of Art and had time for an early lunch so we stopped at the Greenvale Townhouse Restaurant. Located just north of Northern Boulevard on Glen Cove Read, we felt it would be a good place, not far from our destination.
We pulled into the parking lot, deceptively small from the street. As we made our way to the back we saw how large the lot really is. Six handicapped spaces are located here.
We walked back to the main entrance and up the ramp, stopping to look at the koi pond in front of the entrance, complete with a waterfall. At the double-doors we found a small ½ step to enter – a small entryway and another set of double doors. Upon inquiry, we were told that there is a ramp to a handicapped-entrance on the left side of the building. Unless you know about it you would not notice it from the rear parking lot.
Once inside we found a homey, classic inviting atmosphere. Tile and carpet cover the floors. Booths, tables and chairs are well spaced for ease of navigation. A gracious host showed us to a booth. Our server was lovely and “let us be” until we were ready to order. Presented with the usual spiral book sized diner menu it is almost always difficult for me to choose. We both decided on breakfast options. When our food arrived we saw that all of our requests had been honored. Special attention was paid to refilling our coffee cups, for which we are always grateful! The service was pleasant, attentive and professional. What more could one ask for?

Oops, almost forgot to mention that there is a large, private dining area with two steps leading to it.
