The Old Westbury Diner has been a regular meeting place for many of my friends due to its central location in Nassau County, consistent food and good service.
The paved parking lot does not have handicapped spaces close to the main entrance. These can be found in the back of the building where you will find another handicapped entrance that leads directly into one of the dining rooms. If entering through the main entrance you will find a ramp to the double-doors, vestibule, and another set of doors to the hostess area.
Flooring throughout is either flat carpet or tile.
The dining areas provide options for seating (booths and tables) with ample space between tables for easy navigation.
Multi-stall restrooms can be found up a slight ramp near the main entrance. A single-occupancy, handicapped-accessible restroom with baby-changing station is located towards the back of the dining area near the handicapped exit.
The food is always good, the staff always accommodating, and we are never rushed; making it a great place for friends to meet.
As always, we at Destination Accessible advise you to check a venue’s website when planning a visit, to “”know before you go.”” Since The Old Westbury Diner does not have a website, we suggest calling, (516) 294 – 2989, with any questions.
