Orient Odyssey is the offspring of The Orient restaurant located in Bethpage. This restaurant recently opened in the Marshalls strip mall in Jericho to the delight of the people living around here. We had a craving for Dim Sum and read that this location serves it at lunchtime during the week as well as on the week end, so we decided to visit. We found that there are no carts during the week, only choices on the menu. We had a Chinese lunch special and some Dim Sum.We plan to return for the total Dim Sum experience.
Ample parking is in front of the restaurant including 2 designated handicapped spots. A curb cut leads to the sidewalk and then it is a very short walk to the entrance which consists of a large single door, vestibule and another single door. The dining area is spacious with flat floors and tables and chairs. There is room to maneuver. Single occupancy handicapped accessible restrooms are in the rear. There is no baby changing station.
Since this location has no website, we at Destination Accessible advise you to check information online or call the restaurant when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
