Sonoma Grill Restaurant & Bar is located in the Ramada Plaza at 1730 North Ocean Ave. in Holtsville Long Island.The restaurant can be entered two ways. From the parking lot and through the hotel down the hallway.
If entrance is from the parking lot, there are 4 handicapped van accessible spots in front of the restaurant.A concrete walkway leads to the first set of double doors, then a vestibule and another set of double doors. A bench is outside to wait for friends. The floor is flat and seating is at both booths and tables and chairs. There are steps up to the 40 foot bar, but if you come in from the hotel there is a ramp up to it.
Hotel guests can get breakfast in the morning and a full family menu is available at lunch and dinner. Big screen televisions broadcast sporting events. A large, separate room is available for parties.

After we met the lovely ladies at the Ramada Plaza in Holtsville, we walked down the carpeted hallway to the Sonoma Grill Restaurant & Bar. Hotel guests can get breakfast here and the public can enjoy lunch, dinner and takeout. There is also a room available for parties.
The restaurant is spacious with wide aisles, booths and tables with chairs. Large screen televisions broadcast sports. There is a very long bar that is up a few steps, but it is also accessible by a ramp that is near the hotel entrance.
Multi-stall restrooms with a large handicapped accessible unit and a baby changing station are located in the hallway of the hotel.
We exited the restaurant through the main entrance so we could experience entering from the front. There is a large paved parking lot with 4 designated handicapped van accessible spots. Entry is through one set of double doors, a vestibule and another set of double doors.A bench is outside to wait for friends. After entering. a friendly hostess greets you and leads you to a booth or table with chairs. The restaurant offers a full family menu and specials on different days.
