Although we had been to the CM Performing Arts Center many times, we had never been to the Oakdale Brew House, which is literally, next door. Now that we have been there once, we will definitely be back.

Parking is abundant in the large paved lot, with six accessible spaces close to the restaurant. There are more accessible spaces throughout the lot.

Being just before Halloween, there were fun decorations both outside and in, welcoming all.

Luckily for us, we had made a reservation for just after the performance we went to at the CM Center. If we hadn’t made that reservation, we would have had quite a wait.

We were seated promptly, at a banquette that required a rather big step up. Take this as a clue that when you make your reservation, be sure to tell them what type of seating you need.  There are tables with armless chairs, high top tables and booths. There is also a large, full height bar.

There is ample space throughout to navigate.

We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive and interesting menu. Our choice of a pretzel for an appetizer turned out to be one of the largest pretzels we have ever gotten.  The three different dipping sauces that accompanied it were great as well.

Everyone ordered something different, salmon, an entree salad, hamburger, and chicken sandwich. Everything was quite good! Take note that they have a great variety of beers, including a “flight” if that is something you wold like.

Our server couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier!

The Oakdale Brew House is a very friendly place with a lively atmosphere.

Two single occupancy restrooms and located on either side of the main dining area. Although they do have grab bars, the sinks are not wheelchair accessible. There are cabinets under the sinks.

If you can manage that, this is a great spot for before or after a performance.

As always, we at Destination Accessible, advises you to visit a venue’s website, www.oakdalebrewhouse.com, when planning a visit, to learn more.
