Lunch with friends brought me to Aegean Grill in East Northport. It was previously across the street in a much smaller venue. This location is considerably nicer, larger, bright and cheery, with ceiling to floor windows. The food and service continue to be wonderful.
Parking is easy in the paved lot. There are two accessible spaces .
The street level, single door entrance leads to a second door which gets you to the welcome area, which is also the “pick up area” for takeout orders.
Aegean Grill is bright and pleasant, with a Greek vibe. Ceiling to floor windows let the light in, which is so nice at lunchtime! Also, there is ample space throughout to navigate, making it easy for anyone to get around.
We were warmly greeted immediately and shown to our table, which was near a window.
Tables and armless chairs make it easy for all . There is a full-height bar.
The menu is quite extensive, and there is a great lunch menu, with lots of choices, as well.
Our server was lovely, extremely accommodating and not rushing us at all.
When we finally made our decisions, everything we ordered was delicious. I personally have to mention the lemon chicken soup, which I think was a standout for me! The Greek Salads were not only delicious, but extremely large for a lunch order. Our Gyros, Bowls, and Spanakopita, were all wonderful!
Best of all I have to mention the restrooms, which are single-occupancy, and 100% accessible. From the toilet (with bars), to the sink, soap dispenser, and easy to see mirror, everyone can be easily accommodated. There is a baby-changing station in here as well!
What a treat! A huge “thank you” for accommodating everyone.
