Having seen Ginza, Levittown, listed as one of Newsday’s top ten Japanese restaurants, we were close by at lunchtime, so decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed!  


There are two accessible parking spaces almost directly in front of the street-level, double door entrance, There are several other accessible spaces farther away in the large, paved lot.


There is a small entryway, and another door to enter. Once inside you are treated to lovely decor and wonderful soothing music. There is plenty of space between tables and banquettes. There is also a small, full-height bar and sushi bar. 


We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. It was rather late, even for lunch, and the restaurant was not very busy. 


The menu is quite varied, as was the lunch menu. My better half and I almost always order rolls to share for lunch. All of our choices were delicious! The miso soup we ordered was excellent as well. I was especially happy that the soup was yummy and quite hot, something I don’t find too often at Japanese restaurants.


I cannot say enough good things about the service. It was extraordinary! The lovely young woman who served us was as attentive as possible, making sure we were happy with everything. I love ginger and had requested extra ginger. What I got was a separate plate overflowing with ginger! What could be better?


The final touch was the large, accessible, single-occupancy restroom. Unfortunately, there is no baby-changing station.


We loved our lunch and the attention we received. We will definitely be back for dinner.
