Their website says, “…chic, casual and comfortable waterside restaurant  charms guest with perfectly balanced menu, friendly service and lovely ambiance.” We couldn’t agree more. Our visit on a perfect August Sunday, was absolutely lovely.

Valet parking made our arrival easy. We were right near the welcome desk.

All of the outdoor tables had a great view of the Marina, and a bit of Hempstead Harbor in the distance. It’s always nice to watch the comings and goings on the water, especially on a beautiful day!

The outdoor dining area is quite large with most of it under cover. I noticed that there are heat lamps on the ceiling, which probably allows for outdoor dining well into fall. The indoor dining room was lovely as well. High ceilings, beautiful lighting, some lovely round booths, as well as a full-height bar make indoor dining a good alternative for some. 

We happily had a table under the awning. Our server was pleasant and professional. All of our orders came out just as we had ordered them. Salads with shrimp, Eggs  Benedict, Fish and Chips each had nice presentations as well as good taste. Our coffee cups were always refilled. The best thing of all was that we were never rushed. Since it was a beautiful day, we really didn’t want to leave our comfy seats and delightful view. And no one asked us to do so. We were able to linger over our coffee and enjoy the company of friends we had not seem in quite some time. We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon!

The restrooms are multi-stall, with an accessible stall. The accessible stall has the requisite handrails and accessible sink. Unfortunately the toilet in the stall is so low that it is probably difficult for someone with a mobility limitation to easily use it. There are no baby-changing facilities.

All in all, if you can manage the low toilet, this is a lovely venue for outdoor, waterfront dining.  We understand that there is music five nights a week.
