    We just returned from a delightful and delicious dinner at Carpaccio, Huntington Station. It is located on the “outside” of the Walt Whitman Shoppes.   Accessible parking is readily available in the large, paved, shopping center lot.

This is a relatively new restaurant. It opened in October, 2022, replacing Brio. It is part of the Limani Hospitality Group.

Street level, double doors open to an entryway. Another set of double doors get you to the host/hostess area.

Being early on a Wednesday evening, we had our choice of tables. The restaurant is quite large, 6,000 square feet, with three dining areas, plus a nice bar/lounge area with full-height bar. We chose a table in the middle dining area, near a full length front window, which we understand can open. There are also some booths and banquettes. All of the areas are  spacious, with plenty of space to navigate. The decor can be considered modern, with a somewhat rustic vibe, making it feel welcoming.

Carpaccio’s website states that they have “authentic Italian dining…distinctive cuisine and gracious hospitality.” After our evening here, we definitely concur with all of these things.

Our server, Omar, was absolutely lovely. His smile and friendly manner made our meal even more enjoyable. The bread basket at the outset was a great beginning, since many restaurants have given this up.

We discovered that Wednesday evenings offer a prix-fixe dinner. All four of us decided to give it a try. We were truly surprised by the number of choices and the size of the portions, not to mention how beautifully everything was presented and how delicious everything tasted ! Caesar salads and Fagioli soup were perfect. The salmon entree, and lemon chicken dishes tasted as good as they looked, and were large enough for each of us to have lunch for tomorrow.

Finally, dessert, which no one needs, but everyone wants. Molten Lava cake, Tiramisu and gelato were a great way to end a great meal.

We cannot speak to how the acoustics are when the restaurant is full, but we can tell you that Wednesday night was perfect! We were able to “catch up” with friends we had not seen in quite some time. 

Multi-stall restrooms, with a large, accessible stall, accessible sinks, and baby-changing station, are located in a hallway to the right of the bar. 

Everything about Carpaccio was great! We will be back soon!
