We have enjoyed lunch at Morrison’s before and now decided to tell our website visitors about it. The restaurant is conveniently located on Woodbury Road near the shopping centers on South Oyster Bay Road in Plainview. The decor is charming and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The owners’ parents used to own Graffiti and now the children are following in their footsteps . As stated in the restaurant’s website,”Morrison’s was built for family, by family; and we invite you to be a part of ours.” Our waitress was very gracious and made us feel at home.
There is one designated handicapped, (van ) accessible spot in the lot in front of the restaurant. A curb cut leads to the brick sidewalk. A double door entrance leads into the restaurant that has level floors. There are booths in the front bar area and to the right is the dining area with booths and tables with chairs. The aisles are adequate. The single occupancy, handicapped accessible restrooms are at the rear of the dining area. Access is easy. A rear entrance is located near the restrooms, but there are no designated handicapped spots close by. The restaurant serves, lunch, dinner, and brunch.
As always, we Destination Accessible advise you to check a venue’s website, www.morrisonsny.com, when planning a visit, to “know before you go.”
