We hadn’t been to Main Street in Farmingdale for awhile so we decided to go see if there was anything new. We were pleasantly surprised to find that a dessert shop had opened. The exterior of the store and the rocking chairs facing into the window were very inviting. We entered through the double doors into a very spacious interior with tables, chairs and benches as well as the rockers. There is also a counter with a couple of stools, in front of the coffee machine. On the wall, are the self serve dispensers with very delicious flavors of soft ice cream and frozen yogurt. It was  hard to choose which to have. The Belgian Waffle Sundae flavor was exceptional. If you’re not in the mood for yogurt, there are baked goods to have with coffee drinks or different types of ice cream treats.

There is a large room in the back with a TV and more seating. The single occupancy handicapped accessible restroom is located in the rear. There is no baby changing station.

Parking is on the street and in a nearby municipal lot.

As always, we at Destination Accessible advise you to check a venue’s website when planning a visit,”to know before you go.”
